Guide: Forum

bla bla forum rules, allowed HTML, signatures etc

Rules

List the rules here. Basically, don't be a dick. Also there is a word filter for naughty words, so don't bother writing a post full of obscenity - we'll just see a weird rant about custard, farts and silly things like that.

Signatures

Signatures are little bits of writing or code that are added after main posts. Every Master can write their own. You might use this space to write a funny quote, advertise a few of your Trade offers, show off a pretty banner you made, or include sprites of your creatures whose profiles you want to show off.

Your signature code can be up to 500 characters long. Basic HTML is allowed (see the list below). The maximum width is 800? px, and maximum height is 100? px. After that, images or text will be cut off and hidden. So make sure your images fit nicely into that space. :)

Some Masters might find that everyone's signatures make pages cluttered. If you don't want to see them, go to your Office and choose the 'Hide Signatures' option.

Ooh, naughty!

If you see a thread, post or signature that you believe is breaking the rules, use the red Report button in the corner, to alert mods. It's helpful if you write the reason - just a short note - so we know what to look for.

Threads and posts can be reported once each. Don't worry if you get a message that an offensive thing has already been reported - it'll be in our list and we'll get to it ASAP.

Masters who break the rules may be silenced - that means a total ban on using the forum in any way. Silences may be brief or permanent, depending on the offence. Contact admins if you're unsure why you were silenced, or want to appeal against it.

HTML Guide

To prevent any weirdness happening, we only allow basic HTML when you customise things. There's still quite a lot you can do, though!
  • produces bold text.
  • produces italic text.
  • or produce superscript or subscript text.
  • ffffff
